If you would like a painting of your house and garden or your favourite beach, please get in contact.  

How the commission process works

I like to meet with the client to talk about the painting commission.  We will agree the size of the painting or set of paintings.  You might want different angles of your house and garden.  You may also want your garden painted in different seasons.  I will provide you with a quote and completion time.  If I'm painting at a private house or garden we will agree painting dates. Please note dates may be adjusted if the English weather misbehaves.  This would be mutually agreed. 
Framing is available if required.  A 20% deposit is made once the commission quote is accepted.  The remaining amount is payable upon receipt of the painting/s.

As a family we often holidayed at Brancaster, and we continue to go whenever we can. We were eager for a painting that would capture the serenity, the calm and the natural beauty of this magical beach and the skies that embrace and almost enfold it. Whilst the beach and skies may feel still and motionless on a day without wind, this is deceptive, for the sands and water and skies are continuously in motion. You need only to stand still and observe and feel the movement in the midst of the calm. Ashley has perfectly captured this blend of stillness and motion, the shift between one state and another. She has also imbued the scene with a tactile quality and vibrancy of colours that make one feel the sand, the sea and the sky. As Van Morrison wrote,

“Smell the sea and feel the sky,
